Envisioned as far more than a simple bookcase, this room was designed as a true sanctuary—a place dedicated to reading, quiet moments, and the pleasure of escaping into another world.

The bespoke bookcase, painted in Farrow & Ball's Green Smoke No.47, brings structure and elegance to the space while showcasing the homeowner's cherished mustard velvet armchair. Opposite, Les Dominotiers' Lago di Guarda panoramic wallpaper transforms the room at first glance. Like a painted landscape, its layered shades of green, blue, and grey draw the eye into the distance, creating an immediate sense of escape.

Paired with the warm Slipper Satin walls and the cloud-like Tense pendant light by New Works, the palette creates a calm, light-filled atmosphere that feels both refined and restorative.
